This Privacy Policy explains how Small Project Services LLC, a South Carolina limited liability company operating Builders Forge™ (“we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and protects information submitted through this website.

Information we collect

For customer rough estimates, we may collect a name, ZIP code, project description, room measurements, trade selection, and estimate details. A customer's telephone number is collected only when the customer selects the option requesting a builder call or text. For builder accounts, we may collect the owner's name, business name, email address, contact number, license number, account sign-in information, pricing, leads, estimates, invoices, subscription status, transaction identifiers, and related business records. For website-tool orders, we may collect the purchaser's name, delivery email, business name, product choice, customization request, order status, and delivery record. Payment-card information will be collected and processed by our payment provider rather than stored directly by us.

How we use information

We use information only to operate the website and its requested services: creating and administering accounts, authenticating users, processing payments, providing technical support, producing rough estimates, saving builder records, using ZIP codes to match inquiries with an appropriate local builder, routing an inquiry to the builder whose link the customer used, responding to requests, maintaining security, and complying with law. A telephone number is shown to Builders Forge or the relevant builder only when the customer specifically requests contact.

No sale of personal information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not use submitted information for unrelated advertising. We may disclose information to vendors that help us host, secure, email, process payments, or operate the service; to the builder associated with the relevant estimate or inquiry; when directed by the person concerned; or when required for safety, fraud prevention, or legal compliance. Service providers may use information only to provide their contracted services.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business and legal records, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Choices and requests

You may ask to review, correct, or delete personal information that we control. Some information may be retained when legally required or necessary for legitimate recordkeeping. To make a request, email us using the contact information below. We may need to verify your identity.

Cookies and sign-in

The website may use essential cookies or similar technology to keep users signed in, protect accounts, and remember necessary settings. We do not currently use nonessential advertising cookies. Offline website tools

A standalone offline tool may save customer names, contact details, quotes, invoices, and line items locally on the purchaser's device. That locally saved information is not automatically sent to SPS. The purchaser controls the device and is responsible for protecting it, deleting records when appropriate, and obtaining any customer permissions required for the purchaser's own use of that information.

Children

This service is intended for adults and businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above shows the latest revision.
